Turkish Kitchinn is a buzzy destination with flamboyant Turkish dishes and warm Anatolian-style atmosphere infused with vintage decor and upscale touches, located in Essex’s Hockley village. Our aim is to reflect our Anatolian heritage and passion into all aspects of our restaurant.

We will challenge your stereotyped conceptions about meat as Turkish Kitchinn. We transform the meat we have chosen exclusively into unique pleasures you will never forget by our master touch. Because in Turkish Kitchinn, cooking meat is an art.

Superb cocktails prepared by our professional chefs, award wi̇nni̇ng local and foreign wine, gourmet whiskeys and brands wait for you to offer you an enjoyable time.

The phrase ‘afiyet olsun’ means hope the food you consume makes you healthy/healthier. It’s another way of saying bon appetit in Turkish.

Beside the dishes and appetizers; Turkish Kitchinn serves desserts in a very unique way. Deserts are made by our chefs served fresh and with the touch of homemade taste.

We are proud of providing an authentic atmosphere to our customers with our decoration.

Nazar boncuk is an eye-shaped amulet believed to protect against the evil eye and it is widely used in Turkish culture and also known as a “good luck charm”. The word boncuk means bead in Turkish.

It's a blue bead used as a talisman which is believed that it would protect you against the evil-eye. The evil-eye superstition comes from very early times and it can be found in most of the cultures in the world. To prevent this unfortunate thing, Turks invented a blue bead which looks like an eye that looks straight back at the spell-caster. So this would guard you from any negative energy or from jealous looks of others for example.

Have eaten in Turkish Kitchinn in Hockley multiple times and always loved the food. During the lockdown we ordered a takeaway from here and the food was absolutely delicious. So fresh, flavourful and plentiful. Delivered on time despite the amount of people ordering takeaway from them. Highly recommend and will be ordering from here again!!

We love going to Turkish Kitchinn but as we are not aloud we had it delivered for our Wedding anniversary and yet again they didn't disappoint the food was incredible and the normal portion size you would get in the restaurant. I can not recommend Turkish Kitchinn enough. Well done and thanks for completing a great day for us.

This is the second time we have been here and we really like this place. The food is very good and plenty of it, the service is freindly and attentive but not in your face. Loved the liver starter.

Superb food. Friendly and helpful service for someone not used to Turkish. Pleasant atmosphere and everyone was very safe and masked up and kept their distance. Couldn’t recommend it more.
